The husband-and-wife team behind Uplevel Academy, and parents to two brilliant boys (plus two very helpful cats).

We started Uplevel Academy because we believe every student deserves to feel confident walking into their English lessons and exams - not just the ones who can afford weekly one-to-one tutoring or happen to have a parent who can explain it all at the kitchen table.

Kellie has been teaching English for over 10 years - in classrooms, online, and across the world. She's taught in Finland, China and India, and spent time as a university lecturer in China.

Her approach has always been the same wherever she's taught: warm, structured and genuinely focused on helping students understand rather than just memorise.

Jason handles the systems, the marketing and everything behind the scenes that keeps Uplevel Academy running.

Between the two of us we've built something we're genuinely proud of - a real teaching environment that feels personal and supportive, not corporate or clinical.

We built Uplevel Academy around live group teaching - small groups, real interaction, proper feedback. After welcoming our second son we stepped back from live classes for a while to focus on building our digital resource library and giving ourselves some breathing room as a family.

But the demand for Kellie's live teaching never really went away. Parents kept asking. Former students kept recommending. And honestly - Kellie missed it.

So the live classes are back. Same small groups. Same personal approach. Same Kellie teaching every single session.
